Carlos Guillermo Torres Chens, de 57 años y residente de Asheboro, falleció el domingo 24 de mayo de 2026 en Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, en Winston-Salem.

Carlos nació el 6 de agosto de 1968 de Guillermo Torres y Estela Chens en Cienfuegos, Cuba. Le gustaba fumar tabacos, tomar café cubano y ver documentales. Carlos disfrutaba jugar con sus nietos y pasar tiempo con su hija, su yerno, sus hermanos, sus sobrinas y sobrinos; amaba profundamente a su familia.

A Carlos le sobrevive su hija, Rosemary Torres Hernandez (Daniel Carrasco Suárez) del Asheboro, así como sus nietos, Daliana Carrasco Torres y Willian D. Carrasco Torres. Le precedieron en la muerte su esposa y sus padres.

La familia tendrá un momento de recordación de Carlos junto a familiares y amistades en el hogar.

Carlos Guillermo Torres Chens, 57, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

Carlos was born on August 6, 1968 to Guillermo Torres and Estela Chens in Cienfuegos, Cuba. He enjoyed smoking cigars, drinking Cuban coffee and watching documentaries. Carlos enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and spending time with his daughter, son-in-law, siblings, nieces and nephews; he loved his family.

Carlos is survived by his daughter, Rosemary Torres Hernandez (Daniel Carrasco Suárez) of Asheboro, his grandchildren, Daliana Carrasco Torres and Willian D. Carrasco Torres. He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.

The family will have a time of remembrance of Carlos with family and friends in the home.
