Carol Kime Williams, 80, of Grays Chapel passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at her home.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Ms. Carol’s life will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Pleasant Garden Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Barrett officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the sanctuary from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM. Burial will follow at Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park in Julian.
Carol was born on May 18, 1946 in Randolph County to the late Charles and Almada Scott Kime and was one of ten children. She graduated from Grays Chapel School, married the love of her life, Mr. Cecil Marcellous Williams in 1966, and together they began raising a family on the farm she grew up on. For many years Carol worked in Accounts Receivable at Farr Associates, however her most valued role was that of a wife, mother and grandmother. Carol enjoyed being outdoors working in her garden, quilting, sewing and spending time with her family. She was a member of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church and enjoyed serving in the church library.
Carol is survived by her children, Lexie Wright (Craig) of Grays Chapel, Trevor Williams (Autumn) of Knightdale, grandchildren, Logan, Morgan and Salem Wright, as well as Levi, Judah and Rebekah Williams. She is also survived by her siblings, Wayne Kime of Chocowinity, Ray Kime (Debbie), Ronnie Kime (Paula), Stephen Kime (Kim) and Alan Kime, all of Grays Chapel, as well as Janet Luck of Asheboro. In addition to her parents and Mr. Williams, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard, Louise Waller and Rose Lynn Kime.
