Debby L. Kivett, 66, of Ramseur passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 28, 2026 at White’s Chapel Community Church Cemetery in Liberty.

Debby was born in Randolph County on June 11, 1960 to the late Hampton Lee “Buster” Kivett and Peggy Callahan Kivett. She was a graduate of Eastern Randolph High School and attended ECPI Greensboro for Business Management, retiring as a General Manager with Landry’s Inc. Debby was the “life of the party” and brought a smile, joy, and laughter with her everywhere she went. She had a heart for helping others and would give or help anyone if it made their life easier. She loved animals; however, no one compared to her “sidekick” Toby who could be seen with her no matter where she went. Debbie enjoyed baking, cooking, and gardening, but being a “Nana” is what brought her the most joy.

In addition to her parents, Debby was preceded in death by her son, Jason Wayne Kivett. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Barnes-Brady (Dallas Brady, Sr.) of Houston, Texas, and her grandchildren, Cody Lee Kivett of Staley, Zina, Haven and Dallas Tyrell Brady, JR., all of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by her aunt, Faye Snyder of Asheboro, cousins Tim Lednum of Siler City, Anthony Snyder of Arizona, Christopher Snyder of Asheboro, and her friend, Jerry Rea of Houston, Texas.
